The remains of Late Madam Cecilia Okon Attah, also known as Eka Fashion, who passed away at the age of 60, were laid to rest on Saturday, March 28, in accordance with the traditions and customs of the Ebighi Edu community in Okobo Local Government Area.

The burial ceremony, conducted by New Testament Ministry International, Oron District, attracted people from all walks of life who came to sympathize with the family over their loss.
Speaking to journalists after the burial, her son, Mr. Okon Bassey, a Port Harcourt-based businessman, thanked friends, family members, the community, as well as the church, for standing by them during their most difficult time.

Mr. Bassey further described his late mother as a pillar of strength to the family and a source of wisdom to the community. According to him, she “lived a fulfilled life before God and man and would be remembered for her good deeds.”
He thanked everyone for their support and wished them well in their future endeavors.
